The island of La Palma, popularly known as La Isla Bonita, has earned this epithet because of the multiple, diverse and spectacular landscapes, purity of the sky and its rugged coastline created by volcanic lava. Despite its small size, this island is a natural paradise, as it has two natural parks and a national park, the Caldera.
In fact, in 2002 it was declared fully Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
It is a true treasure of nature that offers its privileged residents and lucky tourists and visitors from refreshing springs, such as those of Marcos and Cordero. And unforgettable activities like diving into the wonderful underwater world of La Palma, excursions guided bike rides, boat trips on the west coast of the island to enjoy its breathtaking scenery and exotic inhabitants of the sea.
Guided by its fascinating hiking paths as the Route of the volcano, visits to the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory, .. and time to relax in the warm sunshine on the beautiful beaches of the island.
But undoubtedly the most authentic expression of pure nature is found in the National Park Caldera, located in the center of the island where they enjoy their streams, beautiful views and its famous waterfall of colors.
